One New Recipe A Week…

I recently decided to try and expand my cooking repertoire a bit – for health reasons to try and eat more vegetables and also because neither or nor my partner want our daughter to just eat the same things over and over again. We’re a mostly Vegetarian household with OH having been veggie since he was a teenager, whilst TheYoungLady tends to turn her nose up at meat, though will eat the odd fish finger or bit of Scampi. I tend to indulge in a bit of animal when we eat out but rarely at home, and don;t really miss it to be honest.

We have a shelf full of cookbooks from staples such as Delia Smith’s Complete Cookery Course and the BE-RO Baking book, to authentic Indian Vegetarian cookbooks picked up on my work travels to India to a couple of Nigella bibles and a number of baking books (as i started baking last year…) including The Great British Bake-Off. So, i’m going actually use them a bit more often and aim to try one new recipe a week – shouldn’t be too difficult should it?
